The New York Times recommends that you keep a failure résumé, but where would you start?
This app takes the user by the hand: guiding them as they rehash their past professional mistakes and identifying ways to grow from those moments. The ultimate aim is to reframe the negative association that failure carries. Failure is the iterative process of moving forward, and so is creativity.
Failure Résumé was built over the course of a 13-week sprint, as part of a graduate thesis program. The sprint followed the squiggly path of the design thinking process: research to identify a paint point or target audience, concept development, user testing, iteration, iteration, iteration.
The app's target audience, as identified through desk research, digging through internet forums, intercept interviews, and user testing.
